Technology with Impact: Four Strategic Water Projects by BEX

Abuja (F-City) & Bauchi State, Nigeria – 2025

The technology company BEX, active in Nigeria for many years through the development of

technological projects, chose to translate its long-term presence in the country into direct

humanitarian impact.

After discovering ChabadAid’s initiatives online, the company’s leadership was deeply moved and

reached out with a clear intention: to fund a concrete and transformative project for local

communities.

What began as a single initiative quickly expanded. BEX first financed two boreholes in Abuja

(F-City)—one serving a Christian community and the other serving a Muslim

community—demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity and balanced support.

Recognizing the greater challenges faced in the northern regions, the company then extended its

support to Bauchi State, where water access is significantly more complex due to desert terrain.

Drilling in this region requires advanced expertise and substantial resources, as much of the work is

conducted in sandy soil under difficult environmental conditions.

In total, four borehole projects were completed—two in Abuja and two in Bauchi—bringing

sustainable access to clean drinking water to communities in urgent need.

The total budget for these four projects amounted to approximately €48,000.

Beyond these initiatives, BEX has continued to renew its humanitarian commitment by supporting

additional projects in response to emerging crises, reinforcing a long-term partnership built on

responsibility and action.
