Tikkun Olam in Action: Five Wells by Greystone

Nigeria – 2025

The American company Greystone partnered with ChabadAid after being deeply impressed by the

scope and impact of our humanitarian work in Nigeria.

Inspired by the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam—the moral responsibility to repair and improve the

world—Greystone’s leadership chose to take concrete action by initiating a large-scale clean water

initiative.

Together, we implemented five borehole projects, bringing sustainable access to clean drinking

water to underserved communities across Nigeria.

With a total budget of approximately €43,000, these five wells now serve more than 10,000 people,

significantly improving public health conditions, daily living standards, and long-term community

resilience.

This initiative reflects a powerful alignment between ethical values and corporate

responsibility—demonstrating how faith-inspired principles can translate into measurable

humanitarian impact.
