Nigeria – Hanukkah Humanitarian Program

The New York-based company TTNY financed a meaningful humanitarian initiative in Nigeria during the festival of Hanukkah, bringing together the values of light, joy, hope, and solidarity. As part of this special program, volunteers traveled from New York to Nigeria to help share the spirit of Hanukkah with local communities and bring moments of encouragement to families in need.

Organized and implemented by ChabadAid, the campaign included a major food distribution across several villages in Nigeria, offering practical support to vulnerable families while creating a warm atmosphere of coexistence and shared humanity. The initiative reflected the central message of Hanukkah: even in difficult times, light can overcome darkness, and acts of kindness can bring hope where it is most needed. The total cost of the operation amounted to €23,200, fully financed by TTNY.

Beyond the food assistance itself, this project created a powerful moment of connection between communities, demonstrating how celebration, compassion, and humanitarian action can come together to bring dignity and joy to families across Nigeria.
