Francophone Education in Nigeria: A New School Building for 300 Children

Nigeria – Educational Development Program
As part of its long-term commitment to education in Nigeria, Les Rois du Monde financed the construction of a new school building dedicated to the development of Francophone education.
To mark the beginning of the project, members of the association and their volunteers traveled to Nigeria to take part in the laying of the foundation stone. Their visit was not only symbolic: the volunteers actively participated in the early stages of the work, helping move bricks and contributing directly to the construction effort.
The new building, a two-story structure with eight classrooms, is designed to welcome more than 300 children and will play a key role in expanding access to quality French-language education in Nigeria.
This initiative forms part of a broader vision to strengthen Francophone educational opportunities in the country, creating new pathways for learning, cultural openness, and academic development.
The visit concluded with joyful songs and dances shared with the children — a beautiful moment of connection, celebration, and hope that reflected the spirit of the project.
The program is supervised locally as part of ChabadAid’s educational development efforts, and the total cost of the operation amounted to €83,000.
This project stands as a meaningful example of how international solidarity, volunteer engagement, and educational vision can come together to build lasting opportunities for future generations.
