Heritage Bank Food Support: National Relief During the Second Year of COVID-19

Nigeria – COVID-19 Humanitarian Relief Program
During the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic, ChabadAid expanded its food support efforts following the success of its first major relief campaign.
With many vulnerable families still unable to work regularly and struggling to meet their daily food needs, ChabadAid mobilized partners in Nigeria and abroad to organize a renewed national food distribution program.
This initiative was made possible with the support of committed partners, including Heritage Bank, which contributed financially to the preparation of food packages.
The parcels were assembled directly at the Jewish Community Center, which became a humanitarian logistics hub during the crisis, before being distributed to vulnerable communities across Nigeria.
This campaign demonstrated how private partners, local institutions, and humanitarian organizations can work together to bring practical support, dignity, and hope during a national emergency.
