Les Rois du Monde: The Beginning of a Long Story Around a Water Well

Bolote Village, Nigeria – 2021
In 2021, ChabadAid carried out one of its very first humanitarian actions in partnership with Les Rois du Monde, marking the beginning of a long and meaningful collaboration that would later grow into dozens of projects across Nigeria.
This first initiative focused on access to clean drinking water in Bolote Village, located approximately 35 minutes from Abuja. The ChabadAid team traveled to the village to identify the needs of the local population and implement a practical, life-changing solution.
The project consisted of the drilling and installation of a borehole, providing the community with reliable access to clean water and improving daily living conditions for local families.
Financed by Les Rois du Monde, this borehole represented much more than a single infrastructure project. It became the starting point of a broader humanitarian vision — one that would later expand into education, food support, emergency relief, and many other initiatives serving vulnerable populations throughout Nigeria.
The total cost of the project amounted to $8,500.
This first borehole in Bolote stands as a foundational moment in the partnership between ChabadAid and Les Rois du Monde, demonstrating how one concrete action around water can open the way to years of sustained humanitarian impact.
